The ANSELL 284614 is a general purpose industrial work glove from the Series 11-840 line, designed for trade and light industrial environments where dexterity and grip are both required. The glove shell is constructed from nylon and spandex, providing a form-fitting, flexible base. The palm and fingers are coated in foam nitrile using a dipped application method, delivering reliable grip on dry and lightly oily surfaces. At 11 inches in overall length with a knit cuff and wing thumb construction, this glove is sized at 2X-Large and sold as a pair. It carries an ANSI/ISEA Abrasion Resistance Level 4 rating and meets EN 388 4131A and ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A1 standards, making it suitable for assembly, handling, and fastening tasks.
This glove is intended for industrial applications including assembly of small parts, general handling, raw material handling, picking, fastening components, adjusting systems, and screwing operations. The foam nitrile palm coating enhances tactile sensitivity and grip without adding excessive bulk, which makes it practical for tasks requiring finger control. The unisex sizing and full-fingered design suit a wide range of workers on production lines, in warehouses, or on mechanical service tasks. The 2X-Large size targets larger hand profiles where a proper fit is critical for sustained task performance.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard stocking glove for industrial work environments requiring light cut resistance and abrasion protection in assembly, handling, and mechanical service applications.
Work gloves of this type are issued and managed by safety coordinators, warehouse supervisors, or field service leads in accordance with applicable PPE programs and OSHA hand protection requirements. Inspect gloves before each use for coating delamination, tears, or degraded elasticity. Replace when coating shows wear or grip performance declines. Do not use near open flames or high-heat surfaces, as this glove is not rated for thermal protection beyond 104 degrees F.
