The ANSELL 214306 is a fully coated, supported chemical resistant glove from the 15-554 series, designed for industrial and trade environments where exposure to aromatic and chlorinated solvents is a regular hazard. Constructed from 37.50 mil polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) with a cotton interlock knit lining, this glove delivers a high level of chemical resistance alongside ANSI/ISEA Abrasion Resistance Level 4 durability. The smooth grip surface and gauntlet cuff style make it a practical choice for technicians and workers handling aggressive solvents in maintenance, chemical processing, and industrial cleaning applications.
This glove is rated for use in high-risk chemical handling environments classified as CAT III, meeting EN 374, EN 388, and EN ISO 374-1:2016 Type A standards. The gauntlet cuff extends protection up the forearm, reducing splash exposure during pouring and transfer operations. At 14.00 inches overall length and sized X-Large (numeric size 10), it fits both men and women requiring an XL fit. The PVA construction provides resistance specifically to aromatic solvents such as toluene and xylene, as well as chlorinated solvents such as trichloroethylene, making it a go-to glove in facilities where nitrile or neoprene fall short.
Designed for use in applications involving aromatic and chlorinated solvents; part of the ANSELL 15-554 series of supported PVA chemical resistant gloves.
Inspect gloves for pinholes, cracks, or degradation before each use, particularly after solvent exposure. Note that PVA gloves are not water-resistant and will degrade on contact with water or water-based solutions — store dry and away from moisture. Donning and doffing should follow site chemical handling procedures. Disposal of solvent-contaminated gloves must comply with applicable local hazardous waste regulations.
