The ANSELL 205749 is a cut-resistant work glove from the 11-511 series, designed for trade and industrial professionals who need reliable hand protection without sacrificing dexterity. Built on a 13-gauge seamless Kevlar, spandex, and stainless steel shell, the glove achieves an ANSI/ISEA A5 cut resistance rating and an ANSI/ISEA Level 4 abrasion resistance rating. The palm and fingertips are dip-coated in foam nitrile, providing grip on both dry and lightly oiled surfaces. The knit cuff delivers a secure, comfortable fit at the wrist. At 12 inches in overall length, it offers extended forearm coverage suited to demanding service environments.
This glove is suited for general trade work where sharp edges, wire handling, sheet metal fabrication, or light mechanical assembly are routine. The foam nitrile coating performs well in dry and low-oil grip conditions. The glove is unisex and sized X-Small for men, equivalent to a Small in women's sizing, making it a practical fit for smaller-handed technicians or apprentices on the crew. FDA approval supports use in food-adjacent applications where that clearance is required. EN 388 ratings of 4343D and 4442 also qualify it for job sites operating under European safety standards.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard-issue work glove for trade professionals requiring ANSI A5 cut resistance in general mechanical, electrical, or fabrication service environments.
Inspect gloves before each use for cuts, tears, or coating separation that would reduce protection. Do not use foam nitrile-coated gloves in continuous contact with strong solvents or harsh chemicals that degrade nitrile, as this will compromise grip and barrier integrity. Replace immediately if the shell or coating shows visible damage. A licensed or qualified tradesperson should assess task-specific PPE requirements before selecting gloves for any high-hazard application.
