The ANSELL 11727110 is a lightweight, knit-shell work glove engineered for cut, puncture, and abrasion resistance in demanding trade and industrial environments. Built on a 15-gauge HPPE, nylon, and spandex seamless liner, the shell incorporates INTERCEPT Technology yarn on the back for added protection without bulk. The palm and fingertips are dipped in gray polyurethane for a smooth grip on dry surfaces. At 10.75 inches in overall length with a 2.5-inch knit cuff, the glove delivers a close, dexterous fit suited to techs and tradespeople who need protection without sacrificing feel. Rated ANSI/ISEA A2 cut resistance, level 4 puncture resistance, and level 6 abrasion resistance, plus EN 388 rating 4342B.
This glove is appropriate for general mechanical, light assembly, HVAC component handling, electrical parts staging, plumbing rough-in work, and other tasks where fine motor control and hand protection must coexist. The ultralight construction is designed to approximate barehand comfort and dexterity, making it a practical choice for techs who handle sheet metal edges, fittings, wire bundles, or small components throughout a full shift. Sold as a pair in size 2X-Large.
Designed as a general-purpose cut and puncture resistant work glove suitable for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and light industrial applications where ANSI/ISEA hand protection standards apply.
Inspect gloves before each use for tears, coating separation, or compromised knit that would reduce protection. These gloves are not rated as a blood-borne pathogen barrier and are not static dissipative — confirm suitability for your specific task before use. Replace any glove that shows visible damage to the coating or liner. Follow applicable OSHA hand protection requirements and employer PPE programs when selecting and issuing gloves.
