The ANSELL 117073 is an unsupported nitrile chemical resistant glove from the Series 37-145 line. Built for trade and industrial professionals who handle chemicals, abrasives, or sharp materials, this glove delivers tactile sensitivity without a fabric liner getting in the way. The nitrile construction resists punctures, snags, and abrasion, and the sandpatch finish on the grip surface holds onto wet or oily parts. At 13.00 inches overall length with a straight cuff, it covers the wrist adequately for most light-to-medium chemical handling tasks. It carries an ANSI/ISEA Abrasion Resistance Level 4 rating and meets EN 374 and EN 388 standards.
This glove is suited for residential and light commercial service work where chemical contact is a regular hazard — think refrigerant handling, solvent cleaning, parts washing, and chemical line work. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and electricians who work with cleaners, adhesives, or light solvents will find the fit and dexterity appropriate for precision hand work. The glove is sized Small (numeric size 7) and fits both men and women listed at a small hand size. FDA approval makes it suitable for environments with incidental food-contact requirements as well.
Designed as an OEM-style protective glove compatible with general trade service applications requiring chemical and abrasion resistance in a small hand size.
Inspect gloves for pinholes, tears, or degradation before each use, particularly when handling aggressive chemicals. Nitrile gloves are not rated for all chemical families — verify chemical compatibility against the manufacturer resistance chart before use. Dispose of gloves that show swelling, discoloration, or loss of elasticity. Follow applicable safety codes and site PPE requirements when selecting gloves for chemical handling tasks.
