The ANSELL 11290180-N is a cut-resistant protective sleeve designed to guard the forearm and lower arm during high-abrasion tasks. Constructed from Kevlar, it provides ANSI/ISEA Abrasion Resistance Level 3 protection in a lightweight package that weighs 0.06 pounds. The universal size and elastic openings at both ends allow it to fit a wide range of workers and layer easily over gloves or under other PPE. It is commonly used by technicians, tradespeople, and maintenance professionals working around sharp edges, ductwork, conduit, pipe, or mechanical components where sleeve-level cut and abrasion exposure is a concern.
This sleeve is suited for residential and commercial trade applications where forearm protection is required but a full glove provides insufficient coverage. HVAC installers handling sheet metal, electricians routing conduit, and plumbers working in tight spaces with sharp fittings are typical end users. The 18-inch overall length provides coverage from wrist to above the elbow on most adults. The sleeve does not include a thumb hole, so it can be slipped on and off quickly without removing gloves.
Designed as a universal-fit protective sleeve suitable for use across general trade, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service work where ANSI/ISEA Level 3 abrasion resistance is required.
No tools are required to don this sleeve. Pull the sleeve over the forearm with the elastic ends seated at the wrist and upper arm. Inspect the sleeve for cuts, fraying, or degraded elastic before each use and replace if the Kevlar fibers are visibly damaged. Launder per manufacturer guidance to maintain abrasion-resistance performance over time.
