The ANDERSON METALS CORP 750084-060604 is a lead-free brass compression tee designed for joining three lines of tubing in a single fitting. The tee connects two 3/8-inch runs and one 1/4-inch branch using compression-style fittings that require no soldering or threading. Manufactured from brass, it meets the lead-free requirements of Public Law 111-380, making it compliant for use in potable water applications. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians use this type of fitting in refrigeration tubing, water supply lines, and other pressurized fluid systems where a reliable branch connection is needed.
This compression tee is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing and HVAC applications. It is commonly installed where a branch takeoff is needed on an existing tubing run, such as water supply distribution, ice maker lines, or refrigeration circuits. The compression design allows the fitting to seal against the outside diameter of soft copper or compatible tubing without soldering, speeding up installation in tight or heat-sensitive areas. Sold in bulk quantities, it is appropriate for contractors stocking service vehicles or supply rooms.
Designed as an OEM-style compression fitting replacement for use with standard soft copper or compatible tubing in residential and light commercial plumbing and HVAC systems.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Shut off and depressurize the water or refrigerant line before disassembly. Ensure tubing ends are cut square and deburred before seating into the compression nut to achieve a proper seal. Follow applicable IPC or local plumbing code requirements for compression fittings in potable water systems.
