The ANDERSON METALS CORP 750065-10 is a 90-degree brass compression elbow designed for directional changes in compression-fit tubing systems. Built from lead-free brass in compliance with Public Law 111-380, this fitting meets the Safe Drinking Water Act requirements for potable water applications. It accepts 5/8 inch tubing and creates a leak-resistant, tool-free mechanical connection without soldering. Plumbers and pipefitters install this type of fitting in residential and light commercial water supply lines where a reliable 90-degree turn is needed in a compact space.
This elbow is suited for use in potable water supply systems, including under-sink connections, refrigerator water lines, and similar low-pressure tubing runs. Its compression design makes it a practical choice when open flame or soldering is not feasible. The lead-free brass construction makes it appropriate for any installation governed by current safe drinking water regulations. Each package contains 5 fittings sold in bulk format.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use compression fitting for 5/8 inch tubing in residential and light commercial potable water plumbing systems.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before making or breaking any compression connection. Ensure tubing ends are cut cleanly and deburred before seating the ferrule to achieve a proper seal. Follow all applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines when installing fittings in potable water systems.
