The ANDERSON METALS 756205-0604 is a lead-free brass reducing elbow designed for threaded piping systems requiring a direction change alongside a pipe size reduction. Connecting 3/8-inch female NPT to 1/4-inch female NPT, this flanged fitting handles pressures up to 1,000 psi. Constructed from solid brass, it resists corrosion and is rated for potable water service as well as fuel and gas applications. Plumbers, pipefitters, and gas technicians install this fitting where space constraints or system layout demand a compact 90-degree transition between two different pipe sizes.
This reducing elbow is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, gas piping, and fuel distribution systems. This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers or gas technicians in accordance with applicable codes such as the IPC or IFGC. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape rated for the intended service medium before assembly. Do not over-tighten; follow standard wrench-tight-plus-turns practice appropriate for brass NPT fittings to avoid cracking the fitting body.
