The ANDERSON METALS 756110-1202 is a lead-free brass pipe bushing designed to reduce from a 3/4-14 male NPT thread to a 1/8-27 female NPT thread. This hex bushing serves as a threaded reducer fitting, allowing installers to connect a smaller-diameter pipe or fitting into a larger-tapped port. Rated to 1000 psi maximum working pressure and manufactured from lead-free brass, it meets requirements for potable water systems as well as fuel and gas service applications. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and gas fitters install this type of fitting in both new construction and service work.
This bushing is suited for residential and light commercial installations where a thread size reduction is needed at a valve, manifold, equipment port, or pipe assembly. Approved materials and construction make it appropriate for use with potable water, grease, fuels, LP gas, and natural gas systems. The MNPT x FNPT configuration threads directly into a 3/4-inch tapped port while accepting 1/8-inch pipe thread on the female end.
Suitable for use with potable water, grease, fuels, LP gas, and natural gas systems requiring a 3/4-14 male NPT to 1/8-27 female NPT thread reduction.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or gas fitter in accordance with applicable IPC or IFGC requirements. Shut off the water supply or gas supply and depressurize the line before removing or installing any threaded fittings. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads before assembly. Do not over-tighten brass fittings, as this can crack the fitting body or damage mating threads.
