The ANDERSON METALS 750068-0604 is a straight compression tube connector designed to join tubing to a male NPT threaded port in plumbing, refrigeration, and fluid-handling systems. Constructed from lead free brass, this fitting accepts a compression connection on one end and threads into a 1/4 inch NPT male port on the other. It carries a maximum working pressure of 2000 psi, making it well suited for high-pressure service lines. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians install this type of fitting where a reliable, leak-resistant tube-to-pipe transition is required without soldering or flaring.
This compression connector is used in residential and light commercial applications including potable water lines, refrigerant tubing connections, pneumatic control lines, and instrumentation plumbing. The 1/4 inch NPT thread size and 9/16-24 straight thread designation cover a wide range of standard tubing and port configurations. It is appropriate for installations where NPT-threaded valve bodies, manifolds, or equipment ports must be connected to compression-fitted copper or soft tubing.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for plumbing and fluid-handling systems requiring a 1/4 inch NPT compression-to-male-pipe-thread transition in copper or soft tubing applications.
This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers or HVAC technicians in accordance with applicable IPC or local plumbing codes. Shut off the supply line and relieve system pressure completely before removing or installing any compression fitting. Hand-tighten the compression nut onto the tubing, then use an appropriately sized open-end wrench to seat the ferrule — do not over-tighten, as brass compression ferrules can deform and leak. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the NPT threads before threading into the mating port.
