The ANDERSON METALS 730060-04 is a compression tube sleeve manufactured from lead free brass, designed for use in compression-style tube fittings across plumbing and fluid-handling systems. The sleeve seats between the compression nut and the fitting body, creating a leak-resistant mechanical seal when the nut is tightened. Rated to a maximum working pressure of 3000 psi, this sleeve is built for demanding service environments. It is a standard component installed by licensed plumbers and pipefitters during assembly or repair of compression fitting connections in residential and light commercial applications.
This compression sleeve is suited for plumbing supply lines, instrumentation tubing, and hydraulic or pneumatic circuits where compression-style end connections are specified. The lead free brass construction meets requirements for potable water service as well as general fluid system use. It is typically installed during new construction, system retrofits, or field repairs where a compression fitting assembly requires a replacement or additional sleeve component. Each package contains 5 sleeves, making it practical for technicians completing multiple connections on a single job.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or supplemental component for standard compression tube fitting assemblies requiring a sleeve fitting type with sleeve end connections.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified pipefitters. Shut off the water supply or depressurize the fluid system completely before disassembling any compression fitting. The sleeve is slid onto the tubing before the compression nut is threaded onto the fitting body; do not reuse a deformed or previously compressed sleeve, as this will compromise the seal. Verify that tubing is cut cleanly and deburred before assembly to ensure proper sleeve seating.
