The AMTROL-WORTHINGTON SX-30V Extrol is a fourteen-gallon hydronic expansion tank intended for closed, non-potable hydronic heating, radiant, and chilled water systems. It accommodates expanded water as the system temperature increases, helping to maintain safe pressure levels. The tank is constructed with a heavy-duty butyl and EPDM diaphragm, and features a urethane topcoated deep drawn steel tank material. This unit comes factory pre-charged and includes a projection-welded air valve and a threaded steel system connection.
