The WORTHINGTON ST-5 Therm-X-Trol is an expansion tank made for closed, potable hot water systems. This tank helps absorb expanded water to manage pressure build-up, preventing damage to the water heater. It contains a heavy-duty butyl diaphragm and a Turbulator for efficient water circulation. The tank has a precharge pressure of 50 PSIG and withstands up to 150 PSIG of working pressure.
