The AMRAD nsi-wc-g-c is a grey, color-coded twist-on wire connector designed for professional electrical installations. The connector features a knurled outer shell for secure grip during installation, a square hardened internal spring that bites into copper wire for a reliable long-lasting connection, and a deep threaded funnel entry that guards against flashover and shorts. Rated for 300 volts maximum and suitable for 22 to 14 AWG conductors, this connector meets UL SA listing requirements and carries a UL94V-2 flame-retardant shell rating. Each box contains 100 connectors.
This wire connector is used in residential and light commercial electrical work for splicing and terminating copper conductors in junction boxes, device boxes, and fixture connections. The grey color coding follows industry-standard wire connector sizing conventions, allowing electricians to identify the correct connector at a glance. Its outer shell is formulated to withstand temperature extremes up to 105 degrees C (221 degrees F) and resists diluted acids, alkaline solutions, and hydrocarbons, making it suitable for a range of service environments.
Designed as an OEM-style twist-on wire connector for use with copper conductors in standard residential and commercial electrical wiring applications within the 22 to 14 AWG wire range.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize and lock out the circuit at the panel before making any wire connections. Strip conductors to the appropriate length, align the wires, and twist the connector clockwise until firm and secure. Do not use on aluminum conductors unless the connector is specifically rated for aluminum wire.
