The AMETEK 132512 is an analog process pressure gauge designed for industrial and commercial plumbing, HVAC, and fluid system applications. It features a 6-inch dial with a 0 to 200 psi range and delivers an accuracy of 0.5 percent of scale, making it suitable for process monitoring where reliable readings are required. The gauge mounts from the lower port using a 1/2-inch NPT male connection, placing it inline with standard pipe fittings. Wetted parts are brass, and the case is constructed from thermoplastic. It is non-liquid-filled. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial pipe fitters are the primary installers.
This gauge is used in residential and light commercial process lines where moderate pressure monitoring is needed. Typical applications include water supply systems, compressed air lines, boiler service, and HVAC hydronic loops. The lower-mount configuration allows the gauge to be threaded directly into a tee, manifold, or riser fitting. The large 6-inch dial face improves readability at a distance, which is useful in mechanical rooms and equipment bays. The Series 1931 / Model 1901 designation identifies this as part of a standardized AMETEK process gauge line.
Designed as an OEM-style process pressure gauge for use in water, air, and compatible fluid systems requiring a 1/2-inch NPT lower-mount analog gauge with a 6-inch dial face.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local codes and ASME B40.100 gauge installation guidelines. Shut off system pressure and depressurize the line completely before removing an existing gauge or threading in a new one. Apply thread sealant tape or an approved pipe compound to the male NPT threads before installation. Do not overtighten the gauge body using the case as a wrench surface; use a wrench on the hex fitting only.
