The AMETEK 132511 is an analog pressure gauge designed for monitoring system pressure in HVAC, plumbing, and industrial fluid-handling applications. It features a 6-inch dial with a 0 to 160 psi range and delivers an accuracy of 0.5 percent of scale, making it suitable for applications where precise pressure readings are required. The thermoplastic case offers resistance to common environmental conditions found in mechanical rooms and equipment installations. The 1/2-inch lower mount connection allows direct in-line installation on piping or manifolds. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors are the primary installers of this gauge.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial installations where continuous pressure monitoring is needed. Typical applications include boiler systems, chilled water loops, domestic water supply lines, and HVAC hydronic systems. The lower mount configuration is standard for panel-mounted or pipe-tee installations where the process connection comes from directly below the gauge body. Its large 6-inch dial improves readability at a distance in equipment rooms and mechanical spaces.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service gauge for residential and light commercial hydronic, HVAC, and plumbing pressure monitoring applications requiring a 6-inch lower-mount analog gauge with a 1/2-inch process connection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local mechanical codes. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any pressure gauge. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the 1/2-inch NPT connection as appropriate for the service fluid. Do not overtighten the process connection, as this may crack the thermoplastic case or distort gauge accuracy.
