The AMES FIRE & WATERWORKS 0062540 is a 1 inch double check valve assembly backflow preventer designed to prevent the reverse flow of contaminated water into the potable water supply. It features a bronze body, gear operated slow close isolation valves, and female NPT inlet/outlet connections. Approved for horizontal and vertical installations. Maximum working pressure is 175 PSI.
