The AMERICAN STANDARD 760aa101.020 is a two-piece, chair-height elongated toilet designed for residential and light commercial plumbing installations. Built from vitreous china, it flushes at 1.28 gallons per flush (GPF), meeting WaterSense certification standards by using at least 20 percent less water than conventional 1.6 GPF toilets without sacrificing flush performance. The bowl stands 17 inches tall including the seat, qualifying as ADA-compliant chair height. A PowerWash rim directs water around the full bowl perimeter with each flush to reduce residue buildup. The included slow-close seat and lid eliminate slam noise during closure. Color-matched bowl caps and a trip lever are included for a finished installation appearance.
This toilet is intended for residential bathrooms and ADA-accessible restrooms requiring a 12-inch rough-in measurement, which is the standard distance from the finished wall to the center of the floor flange mounting holes. The elongated bowl shape and chair-height seating position make it suitable for aging-in-place applications, accessible residential builds, and general bathroom remodels where comfort height fixtures are specified. A licensed plumber installs this unit under applicable IPC or local plumbing code requirements.
Designed for standard 12-inch rough-in floor flange installations, consistent with typical residential and light commercial two-piece elongated toilet applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with IPC or applicable local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and flush the existing toilet to empty the tank and bowl before removing any existing fixture. Set the wax ring on the floor flange before lowering the bowl, and do not over-tighten the closet bolts, as vitreous china can crack under excess torque. Connect the water supply line to the tank fill valve inlet and check all connections for leaks before returning the fixture to service.
