The AMERICAN STANDARD 4175.700.002 is a single-control deck-mount kitchen faucet from the Colony Soft collection, designed for residential kitchen sink installations. Built from cast brass with a stainless steel finish, it operates through a ceramic disc valve and cartridge for reliable, long-term performance. The swivel spout delivers a flow rate of 2.2 gpm and reaches 8.5 inches with a 5.125-inch spout height, giving working clearance over most standard sinks. A metal lever handle with memory position valving lets the installer set a preferred temperature stop. The faucet includes a side spray and mounts to a 3-hole deck configuration. Licensed plumbers and experienced tradespeople handle most installations of this type.
The 4175.700.002 is suited for residential kitchen applications where a 3-hole, 8-inch center deck configuration is already in place or being roughed in. The faucet hole size accommodates openings between 1.375 and 1.5 inches, and the deck thickness must not exceed 1 inch. The stainless steel finish makes it compatible with casual and transitional kitchen decors. The included side spray adds versatility for rinsing. The ADA-compliant lever handle meets accessibility requirements, which can be relevant in both residential and light commercial applications where ADA compliance is specified.
Designed for 3-hole deck-mount installations with an 8-inch center distance, faucet hole openings of 1.375 to 1.5 inches, and a maximum deck thickness of 1 inch. Part of the American Standard Colony Soft kitchen collection.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber. Shut off the hot and cold supply valves under the sink and relieve line pressure before beginning work. Connections are 0.5-inch male, compatible with standard braided supply lines. Follow IPC and local plumbing code requirements for supply line ratings and shutoff valve placement. Do not overtighten deck hardware against the sink surface, as cast brass mounting components can crack if over-torqued.
