The AMERICAN GRANBY ilpg10025-4lnl is a glycerin-filled dial pressure gauge rated from 0 to 100 PSI, built for service in high-vibration and corrosive environments. The stainless steel enclosure houses a phosphor bronze Bourdon tube sensing element, and the 2.5-inch dial face is protected by a clear acrylic lens secured with a crimped stainless steel ring. Full-scale accuracy is plus or minus 3 percent, with improved mid-scale accuracy of plus or minus 2 percent. The lower 1/4-inch male threaded connection makes direct inline installation straightforward. This gauge is lead-free and meets NSF/ANSI 372 requirements, making it appropriate for potable water systems as well as general mechanical applications. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical contractors are the primary installers.
The ilpg10025-4lnl is suited for residential and light commercial systems where pressure monitoring is required on air or water lines subject to vibration, pulsation, or exposure to corrosive conditions. The glycerin fill dampens needle fluctuation caused by pressure spikes and mechanical vibration, providing a stable, readable display during active system operation. Typical installations include pressure monitoring at pump outlets, boiler supply lines, compressed air headers, and water treatment equipment where a reliable, long-service gauge is needed.
Rated for use on air and water systems. Lead-free construction and NSF/ANSI 372 compliance confirm suitability for potable water piping applications. Designed as a direct-mount inline pressure gauge for systems requiring a 1/4-inch male lower-connection fitting.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or HVAC technician. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing an existing gauge or installing this unit. Use thread sealant appropriate for the medium being monitored and avoid over-tightening the brass socket, which can distort the connection and affect accuracy. Glycerin-filled gauges should be mounted with the dial face vertical to prevent air pockets from forming in the case.
