The Altronix PACE4PRM is a long-range Ethernet receiver that delivers data at one hundred megabits per second full duplex while transmitting power through CAT5e or higher cables in a Power over Ethernet (PoE) compliant manner. This receiver is powered via a PoE midspan, like the Altronix Netway series, or an endspan. It transfers PoE compliant power to the Pace1PTM transceiver, which then supplies power to an enabled IP camera or device. These plug-and-play units are ideal for installing IP devices at distances exceeding one hundred meters and provide an efficient way to upgrade legacy analog systems to modern IP-based solutions.
