The ALTRONIX CORP ALTV2416300UCM3 is a multi-output AC power supply designed for CCTV and security camera installations. It delivers 24 volts AC at 12.5 amps of total capacity across 16 individually protected PTC outputs, making it well suited for mid- to large-scale surveillance deployments. The 3-wire configuration supports proper grounding throughout the distribution circuit. Security integrators and low-voltage electricians install this unit to centralize camera power distribution in a single, supervised enclosure rather than running individual power adapters at each camera location.
This power supply is used in commercial and institutional CCTV systems where multiple cameras require a common 24 VAC source. The 16 PTC-protected outputs allow each camera circuit to be independently protected — an overcurrent condition on one output does not affect the remaining cameras. The 3-wire design accommodates grounded installations where code or system design requires it. Typical deployment locations include server rooms, electrical closets, and security head-end enclosures.
Designed as an OEM-style centralized power supply for 24 VAC CCTV and security camera systems requiring multi-output distribution with PTC protection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or electrical contractor in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for power-limited circuits. De-energize the supply and verify zero voltage at all output terminals before making wiring connections. Mount the enclosure in a dry, ventilated location with adequate clearance for cabling. Do not exceed the 12.5-amp aggregate load across all 16 outputs.
