Allied Moulded Products 9380-FR is a 4 in octagonal galvanized steel fan and fixture support box with 17 cu in capacity designed for new-work residential construction and 2-hour fire-resistive walls and ceilings. It supports ceiling fans up to 70 lb and fixtures up to 200 lb. The bottom-mount box includes machine-tapped fixture holes, a grounding screw, factory-installed steel clamps, and a galvanized adjustable bar hanger for joist mounting.
