The ALLIED MACHINE AND ENGINEERING TM19032 is a helical flute thread mill designed for cutting 10-32 UN threads in both internal and external applications. It features a 0.120-inch cutting diameter, a 0.125-inch shank diameter, and a length of cut of 0.312 inches with a 2-inch overall length. The three-flute geometry and TiAlN coating support efficient chip evacuation and thermal resistance during high-speed threading operations. This tool is installed and operated by machinists, toolroom technicians, and CNC operators working in precision threading applications where thread form accuracy is required in a compact diameter range.
This thread mill is suited for use in CNC machining centers capable of helical interpolation. It is appropriate for both through and blind-hole internal threading as well as external thread milling on small-diameter features. The 10-32 UN thread form makes it a common selection for instrument hardware, fastener tapping in aluminum and steel components, and other precision assemblies requiring fine-thread profiles in tight spaces. No coolant-through capability is present, so flood or mist cooling from the spindle environment should be managed at the machine setup level.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers with helical interpolation capability; compatible with standard 1/8-inch diameter collet chucks and tool holders for small-diameter end mills and thread mills.
Thread mills require a CNC control capable of helical interpolation to generate the thread form correctly. Secure the 0.125-inch shank in a precision collet or tool holder rated for the shank diameter, and verify runout before cutting. Confirm spindle speed, feed rate, and interpolation radius are programmed to match the 10-32 UN thread form specifications. Do not use in manual or non-interpolating machines, as incorrect motion will destroy the tool and damage the workpiece.
