It runs 4 right-hand flutes at 14 teeth per inch (TPI) with a cutting diameter of 0.4700 inches and a length of cut of 1.1430 inches. The TiAlN coating provides thermal resistance for dry or minimal-lubrication machining environments. With a 0.5000-inch minimum nominal diameter and an overall length of 3.5000 inches, this tool fits standard 1/2-inch shank toolholders on CNC machining centers. Program the interpolation path to match the BSPP thread pitch and nominal diameter; verify thread form with a go/no-go gauge after the first part. Coolant-through is not supported on this tool, so confirm chip evacuation strategy before running deep blind holes.
