Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Seat the insert fully into the holder pocket and verify proper clamping torque using the holder manufacturer's documentation. Inspect the insert seat and clamping surfaces for chips or debris before each use to prevent premature insert failure or inaccurate hole geometry.
