The ALLIED MACHINE AND ENGINEERING 26000S-075L is an indexable spade drill designed for general-purpose metal removal in drilling applications requiring extended reach. Part of the T-A 0 series, it accepts interchangeable spade drill inserts and delivers through-coolant capability via axial concentric entry, keeping the cutting zone clear during deep-hole drilling. The 26000S-075L accommodates drill diameters from 33/64 inches to 11/16 inches and reaches a maximum drill depth of 7 inches, making it suited for production and job-shop environments where consistent, deep holes are required in a range of workpiece materials.
This drill body is intended for use in CNC machining centers, drill presses, and turning centers where deep-hole drilling of steel, cast iron, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, high-temperature alloys, and other universal workpiece material groups is required. The flatted cylindrical shank provides positive drive and secure tool-holder engagement. It is installed by machinists, toolroom technicians, and CNC operators working in metalworking and precision manufacturing environments.
The 26000S-075L is part of the ALLIED MACHINE AND ENGINEERING T-A 0 series and is compatible with spade drill inserts designed for that series. It accepts inserts covering drill diameters from 33/64 inches to 11/16 inches. Primary workpiece material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S are supported, covering a broad range of universal metalworking applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician. Secure the flatted shank fully into the tool holder and verify through-coolant passages are clear and properly connected before operation. Confirm spindle speed and feed rate are set per the insert manufacturer recommendations for the specific workpiece material before engaging the cut. Inspect the drill body for wear or damage at each insert change interval.
