The ALLIED MACHINE AND ENGINEERING 22000S-075F is a short-series indexable spade drill designed for general-purpose hole-making across a wide range of workpiece materials. It accepts interchangeable spade drill inserts and covers a drilling diameter range of 33/64 inches to 11/16 inches with a maximum drill depth of 1-3/8 inches. The body features a straight flute design and is built from steel construction. A through-coolant system with axial concentric entry keeps the cutting zone clear and controls heat during drilling operations. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and toolroom technicians on CNC machining centers and drill presses.
The 22000S-075F is suited for general-purpose drilling in a broad range of materials, including steel, cast iron, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and high-temperature alloys, corresponding to workpiece material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S. It is sized for short-reach applications where a compact body length is required. The 3/4-inch flatted shank provides secure retention in standard tool holders. This drill body is part of the T-A 0 series product line from Allied Machine and Engineering.
Designed for use with compatible T-A 0 series interchangeable spade drill inserts. Accepts inserts sized to the 33/64-inch to 11/16-inch diameter range within the Allied Machine and Engineering T-A 0 series system. Confirm insert series and diameter range match before ordering inserts separately.
Installation and setup should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer guidelines and applicable shop safety procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before mounting or removing the drill body. Verify that the tool holder is compatible with a 3/4-inch flatted cylindrical shank before mounting. Confirm coolant supply connections are properly made and flow is verified before initiating a cut to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
