The ALLIED AIR 1.211101 is a single-stage, variable-speed oil furnace rated at 105,000 BTU/h input and 87,000 BTU/h output, delivering an 85% AFUE efficiency rating. Designed for basement installations with a front flue configuration, this unit draws on a 1/2 hp variable-speed blower motor to move up to 1,400 CFM of conditioned air through the duct system. The steel cabinet houses all components in a durable enclosure built to withstand the demands of residential heating applications. Licensed HVAC technicians install and service this furnace as a primary heat source in oil-heated homes.
This furnace is suited for residential applications where oil heat is the primary fuel source and a basement front-flue installation is required. The L85V series configuration supports single-stage heat operation, making it appropriate for straightforward residential load requirements. The variable-speed blower motor provides quieter operation and improved air distribution compared to single-speed motors, which is a common specification request in cold-climate installations where runtime is extended. Installation requires connection to a 6-inch flue diameter venting system.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation unit for residential oil heating systems requiring a single-stage, front-flue, basement-configuration furnace with an 85% AFUE rating.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and the manufacturer's installation instructions. Shut off all electrical power at the disconnect and close the oil supply valve before beginning any service or installation work. The unit requires a 120 VAC power supply with a 15-amp fuse and must be connected to a properly sized 6-inch flue venting system. Do not operate the furnace before verifying that all flue connections are secure and the oil supply system has been inspected for leaks.
