The AM300 PVD coating provides enhanced wear resistance and thermal stability, particularly when cutting stainless steel and other difficult-to-machine alloys. At a 1-inch diameter and 0.54-inch height, this insert is sized for medium-range boring operations in production machining environments. Installation is handled by machinists and tooling technicians.
This insert is intended for use in metalworking operations where stainless steel is the primary workpiece material, classified under workpiece material code M. The GEN3SYS XT platform targets applications that require consistent chip control, reduced thrust forces, and repeatable hole geometry across high-volume runs.
