The ALLEGRO 9832-H is a portable supplied-air respirator (SAR) compressor designed to deliver clean, breathable air to up to three workers simultaneously. Running at 1.5 HP, it produces 20 CFM at 60 Hz with a maximum working pressure of 15 psi, giving connected workers a steady, regulated air supply in confined-space, painting, abrasive blasting, or chemical-exposure environments. The unit connects via Hansen-style quick-disconnect couplings, which are the industry standard for SAR manifold systems. At 110 pounds, it is portable but substantial enough for fixed job-site deployment. Safety professionals and industrial hygienists specify this compressor; it is typically installed and serviced by safety equipment technicians or trained industrial tradespeople.
The 9832-H is suited for industrial and commercial worksites where multiple workers require continuous supplied air simultaneously. Typical applications include confined-space entry, spray finishing booths, sandblasting operations, and hazardous-material remediation sites. The 3-man configuration allows a crew to work from a single air source, reducing equipment overhead. Hansen-type coupling compatibility makes it straightforward to integrate with existing SAR hose sets and manifolds already on site.
Designed for use with Hansen-style SAR hose sets and 3-man supplied-air respirator manifold systems in low-pressure breathing-air applications up to 15 psi.
Installation and commissioning of SAR compressor systems should be performed by a qualified safety equipment technician or industrial hygienist familiar with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 respiratory protection requirements. Before connecting or servicing the unit, shut off and lock out the power supply. Do not exceed the 15 psi maximum working pressure when configuring the downstream regulator, and verify that all Hansen couplings are fully seated and locked before pressurizing the system. Never use this compressor with standard shop-air tools or for any application other than Grade D or better breathing air.
