The ALARM CONTROLS CORPORATION TS-9 is a request-to-exit push button mounted on a narrow stainless steel plate, designed for use in access control and door security systems. It provides a momentary contact signal that tells an access control panel to release an electric door strike or magnetic lock, allowing occupants to exit without a credential. The narrow plate profile fits standard door frame conditions where space is limited. Licensed electricians and low-voltage security technicians are the primary installers of this device.
The TS-9 is suited for commercial and light industrial interior door applications where controlled egress is required. It is commonly installed at exit points equipped with electric strikes, electromagnetic locks, or electrified door hardware. The narrow stainless steel plate format makes it appropriate for installations in corridors, server rooms, office suites, and similar access-controlled spaces where a low-profile, durable surface-mount device is needed.

Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or electrician in accordance with applicable local codes and NFPA 70 (NEC) requirements. De-energize the access control panel circuit before making any wiring connections. Mount the plate securely to a solid surface using appropriate fasteners for the wall material. Verify the output signal type and voltage requirements of the connected access control panel before wiring to prevent damage to the device or panel.
