The AIRGAS AIRG-PR 33 is a Size 33 industrial-grade propane cylinder designed for low-pressure vapor withdraw service with a CGA 790 valve connection. The cylinder is constructed from steel and contains propane (C3H8), a colorless, liquefied flammable gas. Because pure propane is odorless, Ethyl Mercaptan is added as an odorant to aid leak detection — consistent with natural gas industry practice. This cylinder is suited for trade and industrial applications requiring a reliable, portable propane supply at low pressure.
This cylinder is used in residential and light commercial settings where low-pressure vapor withdraw propane service is required. Typical applications include temporary heating, torch work, engine-driven equipment, and similar trade uses. The CGA 790 valve outlet is the standard fitting for low-pressure propane service equipment, making this cylinder compatible with a wide range of regulators and appliances designed for that connection type.
Designed for use with low-pressure propane regulators and appliances fitted with a CGA 790 inlet connection.
Propane cylinders must be handled and installed by qualified personnel familiar with NFPA 58 (Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code) and applicable local codes. Always shut off the cylinder valve and depressurize connected equipment before making or breaking any connections. Store and use cylinders in the upright position in well-ventilated areas away from ignition sources. Leak-check all connections with an approved solution before placing the system into service.
