The AIREX tgs-650w-72e-b Pro-System Kit is a 2-in-1 line set cover solution designed for air-tight sealing and UV and vapor retarder insulation protection at exterior HVAC refrigerant piping penetrations. The kit combines the Titan Outlet wall fitting with the E-Flex Guard insulation sleeve to address both the wall penetration seal and the outdoor pipe insulation in a single installation. It is suited for use with pipe insulation having a 1/2 inch wall thickness and fits tubing sizes of 5/8 inch, 3/4 inch, and 7/8 inch OD. HVAC technicians install this kit at the point of service connections for outdoor condensing units and mini-split systems. The Titan Outlet ships in white; the E-Flex Guard ships in black.
This kit is applied at exterior wall penetrations where refrigerant line sets pass through the building envelope to outdoor HVAC equipment. It is intended for residential and light commercial applications where building energy codes, mechanical codes, and green building standards require a compliant seal and insulation protection system at the piping exit point. The combination of air-tight wall sealing and UV-rated insulation guarding addresses multiple code categories in one assembly, reducing the number of separate products needed at the penetration point.
Designed for use with 1/2 inch wall thickness pipe insulation on refrigerant tubing sized at 5/8 inch, 3/4 inch, or 7/8 inch OD, at exterior wall penetrations for outdoor HVAC equipment.
Installation is performed by a licensed HVAC technician as part of a line set rough-in or service connection at an exterior wall. Shut down the HVAC system and relieve any system pressure before working at the penetration point. The wall outlet and insulation guard should be fitted before final refrigerant line connections are made. Follow applicable local mechanical codes and building energy code requirements for sealing exterior piping penetrations.
