The AIREX TA20221 is a 20 x 22 x 1 inch disposable fiberglass panel air filter designed for residential and light commercial air conditioning and forced-air systems. It uses Polystrand fiberglass media, which encapsulates continuous glass strands measuring more than 3.5 microns in diameter, making the fibers non-respirable and safer than conventional glass wool media. The filter achieves a MER Value of 4 to 5, offering economical particulate capture suitable for standard air quality maintenance. A heavy-duty, moisture-resistant white kraft board frame holds the media in place and resists deformation in humid conditions.
