The AIREX TA20201 is a 20 x 20 x 1 inch disposable fiberglass panel air filter designed for residential and light commercial HVAC applications. It uses Polystrand fiberglass media, a continuous-strand construction measuring more than 3.5 microns per fiber, which classifies the fibers as nonrespirable. The media is encapsulated in a polymer binding that produces a high-loft filtration layer. Fibers are loosely arranged on the air-entering side and progressively tighter on the air-exiting side, building a laminated backing that improves dust holding capacity and resists surface loading.
