Product Description

The AIREX TA16251 is a 16 x 25 x 1 inch disposable fiberglass panel air filter designed for residential and light commercial HVAC and air conditioning applications. It uses Polystrand fiberglass media, a continuous-strand fiberglass that measures greater than 3.5 microns in diameter, which classifies the fibers as nonrespirable. The media is loosely spun on the air-entering side and progressively woven tighter toward the air-exiting side, creating a graduated density structure with a heavy laminated backing. This design increases dust holding capacity and reduces surface loading. The filter is rated for airflow between 850 and 1350 CFM and carries a MER Value of 4 to 5.

This filter is sized at 16 x 25 x 1 inches and fits standard filter slots in forced-air systems, including central air conditioning units and gas or electric furnaces with compatible filter housings.
