Product Description

The AIREX TA14201 is a 14 x 20 x 1 inch disposable fiberglass panel air filter designed for residential and light commercial HVAC and air conditioning applications. Built with Polystrand fiberglass media, the filter uses a continuous-strand fiber measuring more than 3.5 microns in diameter, which makes the fibers nonrespirable and safer than standard fiberglass. The media is loosely spun on the air-entering side and progressively woven tighter on the air-exiting side, creating a heavy laminated backing that increases dust-holding capacity. A moisture-resistant white kraft board frame adds structural integrity without requiring a metal backing.

This filter is suited for use in residential and light commercial air conditioning units and forced-air HVAC systems. The 1-inch depth fits standard single-slot filter tracks, and the 14 x 20 inch face dimensions are among the most common in residential air handler and furnace installations. The disposable design simplifies maintenance and reduces service time.
