The AIREX pm14202 is a 14 x 20 x 2 inch MERV 10 pleated air filter designed for residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC applications. The filter media is a 100% hydrophobic, electrostatically charged synthetic polyolefin engineered to attract and hold airborne contaminants, achieving 65-70% efficiency in the 5-10 micron particle range. The enclosing frame is constructed from a rigid, heavy-duty moisture-resistant beverage board with integrated support members bonded to each pleat on both sides for consistent pleat spacing and structural stability. The filter pack is bonded to the inside frame perimeter to eliminate air bypass. A heavy expanded wire media support grid with at least 93% open area is bonded directly to the media to prevent oscillation and pull-away.
