The AEROFLEX 502-ac1210 is a closed-cell EPDM foam rubber pipe insulation tube designed to thermally protect straight runs of copper and stainless steel pipe or tubing. Manufactured as an unslit tube with a 1/2 inch inside diameter and 1 inch wall thickness, it delivers an R-value of 4.08 and a K-value of 0.25 BTU. The 6 ft factory-cut length arrives preformed and ready to slide over pipe ends during new installations, reducing field fabrication time. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical insulation contractors install this product on refrigerant lines, chilled water piping, and domestic cold water systems.

This insulation tube is suited for residential and light commercial mechanical systems where thermal efficiency and condensation control are priorities.
