The ADVANCED DISTRIBUTOR PRODUCTS tac61c is a 5-ton cased N-coil rated at 61,000 BTU/h, designed for use in split-system central air conditioning applications. Built with an aluminum coil construction and equipped with a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) metering device, it is engineered for reliable refrigerant flow management and efficient heat transfer. The coil is configured for multi-position installation, allowing it to adapt to upflow, downflow, or horizontal air handler orientations. Licensed HVAC technicians install this coil as part of a matched refrigerant system using R-410A refrigerant.
The tac61c is suited for residential and light commercial installations where a 5-ton cooling capacity is required. Its multi-position configuration makes it a practical fit for a range of air handler and furnace coil cabinet setups. The 26-inch width accommodates standard coil cabinet openings common in residential construction. This coil is typically paired with a compatible condensing unit and air handler to form a complete split-system cooling assembly.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation evaporator coil for 5-ton split-system air conditioning applications using R-410A refrigerant with a cased N-coil cabinet configuration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding the appropriate EPA Section 608 refrigerant handling certification. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power and recover system refrigerant before removing or installing the coil. Follow local mechanical codes and manufacturer guidelines for brazing, leak testing, evacuation, and refrigerant charging procedures. Do not exceed the system design operating pressures specified for R-410A equipment.
