The ADVANCED DRAINAGE SYSTEMS 15850020dw is a solid dual-wall corrugated pipe engineered for high-load buried drainage applications. Built to the N-12 Series standard and conforming to ASTM D3350, this polyethylene pipe features a smooth interior wall for efficient flow and a corrugated exterior for structural rigidity. The nominal pipe size is 15 inches, with an inside diameter of 15 inches and an outside diameter of 18 inches. Each section runs 20 feet in length and connects via a bell end to spigot configuration. Licensed plumbers, civil contractors, and drainage specialists install this pipe in storm sewer, culvert, and subsurface drainage systems.
This pipe is suited for residential, commercial, and municipal drainage projects where a rigid, corrosion-resistant conduit is required beneath roadways, parking areas, driveways, and landscaped grades. The solid wall construction makes it appropriate for pressure-tight installations using Solidtight fittings and couplings. Its bell end connection simplifies field joining without additional coupling hardware at each joint. The temperature rating of -10 to 120 degrees F allows installation across a broad range of climates and soil conditions.
Designed for use with N-12 Series fittings, couplings, and Solidtight connection systems compatible with 15-inch nominal dual-wall corrugated polyethylene pipe per ASTM D3350.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers or civil drainage contractors following local building codes and applicable standards such as AASHTO and ASTM installation guidelines for corrugated polyethylene pipe. Ensure the trench is properly bedded and backfilled per the project specifications to maintain the pipe's load-bearing rating. Inspect the bell and spigot ends for debris before joining, and verify that gaskets or seals are properly seated when a watertight connection is required. Do not exceed the pipe's rated cover depth or expose it to temperatures outside the rated range during storage or installation.
