The ADP S60R200 is a 5-ton, 60,000 BTU/h uncased evaporator service coil designed for residential and light commercial air conditioning and heat pump systems. Rated at 2,000 CFM and 500 psi, it features a high-efficiency lanced fin design and is compatible with both R-22 and R-410A refrigerants. The coil ships with copper refrigerant connections suited for brazing on copper and aluminum slab models, and supports right-hand upflow orientation. It is intended for installation by licensed HVAC technicians during new equipment installation or service coil replacement. The unit is manufactured in the USA and incorporates Microban antimicrobial additive in the drain pan to inhibit mold and mildew growth.
The S60R200 is suited for right-hand upflow configurations in residential and light commercial split-system applications. It is an uncased service coil, making it adaptable to a variety of air handler cabinet configurations. The coil supports TXV installation through an externally accessible piston body, accommodating flexible field refrigerant metering setups. Dual 3/4-inch FPT condensate drains are positioned on both the front-left and front-right sides of the drain pan, providing flexible condensate routing for a range of equipment room layouts.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation service coil for right-hand upflow split-system air conditioner and heat pump applications using R-22 or R-410A refrigerant. Compatible system pairing with Ruud equipment is indicated by the supplier title. Verify system tonnage, orientation, and refrigerant type before installation.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and EPA Section 608 refrigerant handling requirements. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power to the air handler and outdoor unit before beginning coil installation or replacement. Refrigerant connections are copper and suitable for brazing; follow standard nitrogen purge procedures during brazing to prevent internal oxidation. Confirm condensate drain routing and trap depth comply with local plumbing and mechanical code requirements before commissioning.
