The ADVANCED DISTRIBUTOR PRODUCTS hg9ja36a200a0004r is an uncased upflow A-coil designed for split-system air conditioning installations where refrigerant-side components are selected and assembled in the field. Configured for left-hand orientation, this coil ships without a casing, allowing installation inside a matching air handler or furnace cabinet. It is factory-fitted with a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) designed for use with R-454B refrigerant, aligning it with current low-GWP refrigerant transitions in residential and light-commercial systems. The coil measures 20 inches on the C width and 19 inches in height. Licensed HVAC technicians performing split-system installs or retrofits are the intended installers.
This coil is suited for upflow residential split-system applications where the evaporator coil is installed above or on top of a gas furnace or air handler in a vertical configuration. The left-hand orientation determines the direction of the liquid and suction line connections relative to the cabinet front. Per the supplier data, this coil is compatible with Allied 1.5 to 3 ton 7AC units and includes an RDS kit. Installations requiring R-454B refrigerant compatibility will find this coil factory-ready for that refrigerant circuit.
Compatible with Allied 1.5 to 3 ton 7AC units. Consult equipment documentation to confirm cabinet dimensions and refrigerant circuit requirements before ordering.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding the appropriate EPA Section 608 certification for handling regulated refrigerants, including R-454B. Shut down and lock out the electrical supply to the air handler or furnace before removing or installing the evaporator coil. Verify that all refrigerant connections are leak-tested after brazing and before system startup. Follow local mechanical codes and the equipment manufacturer installation instructions for drain pan, condensate line, and cabinet sealing requirements.
