The ADVANCED DISTRIBUTOR PRODUCTS hg9ja36a155a0004r is an uncased upflow A-coil designed for split-system air conditioning and heat pump applications. Configured for left-hand orientation, this evaporator coil measures 15.5 inches in B width and 19 inches in height. It ships with a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) metering device and an RDS kit, making it ready for field installation without additional metering hardware. Charged for use with R-454B refrigerant, this coil is suited for systems transitioning to low-GWP refrigerants. Residential HVAC technicians install this coil inside an air handler or furnace cabinet as part of a split cooling or heat pump system.
This coil is compatible with Allied 1.5-ton through 3-ton 7AC units and fits upflow system configurations. The uncased design allows it to drop into an existing or new cabinet where the installer provides the enclosure. The left-hand orientation determines the direction of refrigerant line connection and must be matched to the specific installation layout. The included RDS kit supports proper drain and sealing integration at the installation site.
Compatible with Allied 1.5-ton through 3-ton 7AC units. Designed for upflow, left-hand orientation split-system installations using R-454B refrigerant.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding an EPA Section 608 certification, as this coil operates with R-454B, a mildly flammable A2L refrigerant requiring appropriate handling precautions. Shut down and lock out the air handler or furnace and disconnect all electrical power before beginning coil installation. Verify that the cabinet orientation and refrigerant line routing match the left-hand configuration of this coil before finalizing connections. Follow local mechanical codes and the equipment manufacturer guidelines for drain pan, condensate line, and sealing requirements when installing an uncased coil.
