The ADVANCED DISTRIBUTOR PRODUCTS hg9j936a155a0004s is an uncased evaporator A-coil rated at 3 tons and configured for left-hand, upflow installations. It ships without a cabinet, making it the correct choice when a field-supplied or matched cased cabinet is already in place. The coil uses a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) metering device and is charged for use with R-410A refrigerant. At 15.5 inches B-width and 19 inches tall, it fits standard residential air handler and furnace coil cabinet openings that match those dimensions. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation as part of a split-system or package retrofit.
This coil is intended for residential and light-commercial upflow split-system applications where a factory-cased coil is not required or a specific cabinet configuration is preferred. The left-hand orientation refers to the refrigerant line connection side and must be confirmed against the air handler or furnace cabinet layout before ordering. The TXV metering device provides more precise refrigerant flow control across a wide range of operating conditions compared to a fixed orifice, which improves system efficiency and helps protect the compressor from liquid slugging.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install uncased evaporator coil for upflow split-system applications using R-410A refrigerant. Confirm B-width, height, and line-connection orientation against the coil cabinet and air handler specifications before installation.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with applicable mechanical codes and EPA Section 608 refrigerant handling regulations. Shut off all power to the air handler or furnace and recover any existing refrigerant charge before removing the old coil. Verify the drain pan, refrigerant line connections, and cabinet sealing are correct before recharging the system. Do not braze refrigerant lines with the TXV in place without following the manufacturer's heat protection guidelines.
