The ADP HE33136A170A000067 is a 3-ton uncased evaporator coil designed for residential air conditioning and heat pump systems using R-410A refrigerant. Rated at 36,000 BTU/h and 1,200 CFM, this coil features a copper slab construction with a high-efficiency lanced fin design housed in a galvanized steel cabinet. The right-hand drain configuration and piston metering device make it a direct fit for standard upflow and horizontal installations. A Microban antimicrobial additive in the drain pan inhibits mold and mildew growth, and the UV-resistant drain pan is molded from high-temperature engineered polymer rated to 450 degrees F.
This coil is suited for residential split-system air conditioner and heat pump installations where an uncased coil is required to fit an existing or custom air handler cabinet. The piston metering device is externally accessible for easy changeout or TXV conversion in the field. Non-captive refrigerant lines with long stubs simplify the brazing process, and enhanced pipe grommets provide a secure, tight seal. Intertek lab testing confirms 1 percent or less cabinet air leakage, supporting better overall system efficiency.
Designed as an OEM-style uncased evaporator coil for use with R-410A split-system air conditioners and heat pumps. Compatible with R-410A refrigerant systems. Threaded expansion valves are available factory installed or as a field-installed kit for systems requiring TXV metering.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and manufacturer guidelines. De-energize the system and recover all refrigerant before disconnecting any refrigerant lines. Refrigerant connections are copper and suitable for brazing; follow standard brazing procedures and ensure proper nitrogen purge during the braze process. Verify drain pan condensate lines are properly pitched and connected before returning the system to service.
