The ADP HE31130A130A000059 is an uncased slab evaporator coil designed for residential and light commercial air conditioning and heat pump systems. Rated at 30,000 BTU/h (30 MBTU/h) and sized for 1.5 to 2.5 nominal tons, it handles up to 1,000 CFM of airflow. The coil features a copper slab construction housed in a galvanized steel cabinet and uses a piston metering device for refrigerant flow control. Compatible with R-410A refrigerant, it is configured with a right-hand uncased orientation and includes dual 3/4-inch FPT condensate drain connections. Licensed HVAC technicians install this coil as part of a split system air handler or furnace coil cabinet installation.
This coil is intended for residential split system air conditioning and heat pump applications where an uncased coil is required for installation into an existing coil cabinet or air handler. The right-hand drain orientation suits specific cabinet configurations. The piston metering device supports standard fixed-orifice refrigerant circuits, and threaded expansion valves are available factory installed or as a field-installed kit for TXV-based systems. The copper refrigerant connections support brazing on both copper and aluminum slab models, and non-captive refrigerant lines with long stubs simplify field connections.
Designed as an OEM-style uncased evaporator coil replacement for residential split system air conditioners and heat pumps using R-410A refrigerant with piston or TXV metering devices in the 1.5 to 2.5 nominal ton range.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with local mechanical codes and manufacturer guidelines. Shut off all electrical power to the air handler and disconnect the refrigerant circuit before removing or installing the coil. Refrigerant connections are field-brazed copper; follow EPA Section 608 requirements for refrigerant handling. Confirm drain pan orientation and condensate drain routing before final installation to ensure proper condensate flow.
