The ADVANCED DISTRIBUTOR PRODUCTS ha14142a200a0000s is an uncased evaporator A-coil rated at 3.5 tons and designed for upflow and downflow air handler or furnace systems. Built for right-hand refrigerant line orientation, it ships without a cabinet, allowing installation inside existing or custom-built plenums where space constraints or coil access preferences make a cased unit impractical. The coil uses a piston metering device and is compatible with R-410A refrigerant. At 20 inches wide, it is sized to fit standard residential furnace widths. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation, pairing this coil with a matched outdoor condensing unit to complete the refrigerant circuit.
This coil is suited for residential split-system cooling applications where an upflow or downflow configuration is required. The right-hand orientation refers to the direction of the refrigerant line connections as viewed from the front of the unit, which determines how the coil aligns within the air handler cabinet or plenum. Uncased coils are typically selected when the installer needs flexibility in cabinet fit or is replacing a coil inside an existing cased assembly. Built-in plenum flanges with rounded corners support faster and safer field installation.
Designed as an OEM-style uncased evaporator coil replacement or new-installation coil for residential upflow and downflow split-system cooling applications using R-410A refrigerant with a matched 3.5-ton condensing unit.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding an EPA Section 608 certification for handling R-410A refrigerant. Shut down and lock out the entire HVAC system, including the disconnect at the air handler and the outdoor condensing unit, before beginning coil service. Verify right-hand line-set orientation and system airflow direction before securing the coil in the plenum. Follow local mechanical codes and manufacturer guidelines for drain pan, condensate line, and refrigerant line connections.
